Tuesday began our first odyssey into the world of pukey children. We know we were pretty lucky to make it past 20 months, but we also now know that this is the toughest, grossest, saddest part of parenting. On Tuesday, he still felt chipper enough to use his "emergency" bowl as a hat.
Later, he began to feel sicker, so that most of yesterday was spent sleeping on mom. Today, he's still a bit sleepy, but definitely more chipper. He's been telling me about his toys, identifying coats and shoes, and I'm hoping we've turned the bend. Much thanks and love to all parents out there who have dealt with the Cool parents as sick kids, or dealt with sick kids of your own.
