Cutie Pie Thursday: Bringing the Cute

Because some weeks, you just need one really cute picture.

Very Great and Very Grand

Four Generations in June 2009

Great-Grandpa Bill with a sleepy baby Lincoln--he was indeed a very great and very grand Grandpa, and we will all miss him.

Cutie Pie Thursday: March Madness Begins!

"Shoot the basketball!"

"Slam Dunk!"

The first two captions are actual phrases of the wee hoopster, but on the occasion of this stunt dunk gone awry, he didn't have much to say. I didn't see exactly what happened, whether Woody was trying to do a windmill dunk that didn't quite work, or if Lincoln tried to dunk Woody. My money's on the latter.

Birthday Bird

I knitted this bird, another great pattern from KnitWit for my lovely sister for her birthday! I guess I am starting a trend of knitting toys for birthdays this year!

I made him/her from scraps of the yarn I used for Sista Cool's hat last year, and found some lovely wool felt at The Little Wool Shoppe in Loveland.

I think he has almost as much spunky personality as she does!

Yes Yes Wool

My reading mitts, made in 100% Malabrigo Purple Mystery Wool. No angora here!

I made mine a bit shorter than mom's, and due to the less fuzzy nature of wool, they look a bit tighter and less fuzzy. They are still warm and super soft.

While they are reading mitts, I find they also work great for using touchscreens!

Cutie Pie Thursday: Quick, Grab a Camera!

Quick, grab a camera! Lincoln is playing with the squash!

Quick, grab a camera! Lincoln is trying to get himself ready to go out! (If you look closely, you can see that his left shoe is on backwards.)

Now can we get smoothies, mom?

Cutie Pie Thursday: Where Did Lincoln Go?

Is he underneath that blanket?

Boo!

Maybe he'll hide just one more time!

Boo! Mommy found him again! (By the way, he has been pulling the blanket over his head and saying, "Where did Lincoln go?" It is insanely cute, although I hope he won't start a lifelong habit of referring to himself in the third person!)
