One hot day, the wee lad and I got out the kiddie pool in the backyard, slathered ourselves in sunscreen, and cooled off.
It was pretty grand, even if I was doused with water on numerous occassions.
He was a little wary about it--first he said it was nice to stand in, then nice to crouch in, and finally, he was pretty happy sitting and playing.
It's pretty hot today, too. Time to get out the pool! (Moms get to dangle their toes!)
