More finished objects!

I knit Sarah a Magrethea shawl in Tosh Merino Light in Edwardian Velvet for her birthday! She loved it!

I knit myself a Zuzu's Petals in Shepherds' Worsted in a denim color and I love it! Yay for happy FOs--I have a few I'm not wowed about that I haven't even bothered to share!

Baby Gifts on Parade!

This year has been a busy year for my family in the baby realm. You might say, they have been breeding like bunnies. The above hat is from my favorite source of baby hats, Susan B. Anderson's Itty Bitty Hats, and I knit it in Cotton-Ease, my go-to baby yarn. I love how the ears turned out!

I started a hat for another new arrival, but I was stuck and unmotivated. Then I purchased a new (to me) magazine called Living Crafts, with a super cute pattern for a Blankie Baby Doll. The doll is basically flat, with a little bit of stuffing in the head. It is meant to be simple and cuddly, and I knit it in one day, which is always a win. The yarn, again, is Cotton-Ease, which I find to be soft, drapey, and machine washable.
